We have completed Phase II of our Graffiti Removal Program by painting over the graffiti on the Miracle Mile Trail. Take a look at our photos.

   We have begun our Friends of Parks Program working in collaboration with the Beautification Committee and the City of Little Falls. We will be assisting with the maintenance of four parks/areas in Little Falls: Burke Park, Sterzinar Park, Monroe & Church Streets Pump House, and Lock 17 /Visitor Center. We are always looking for volunteers to help us out!    

 

   CARE is currently working on a Revolutionary War Tour Map. This map is divided into two separate tours with extensions. These tours will take you to historic Revolutionary War Period sites including the Fort Herkimer Church and Burial Grounds in German Flats, Indian Castle Church, General Herkimer Home, Fort Klock, Stone Arabia Church, and the site of the Cherry Valley Massacre.  Maps will be for sale at various locations throughout Little Falls during and after Canal Celebration.
